Abbey Medieval Festival 2014

I went to the Abbey Medieval Festival, which is the largest in Australia. It was a really good time, lots of cool/weird things to buy like swords, drinking horns, so many flower crowns and helmets. Lots of sword fighting, jousting and fire juggling. There were gypsies and I even saw someone dressed up as Link from Zelda. As you walk around the tents (which in my photos seem a little lifeless, but you can't hear all the flutes and the drums and the people laughing) there is always something exciting around the corner. It felt like you were walking around in a Assasins Creed game.

Share An Adventure cross-stitch WIP

What have I been doing with my semester break? Why, sitting in bed and cross stitching! (is there a dash in between or no?)
I'd just like to make a note that my exams were all in the first week of the two allocated to exam block, I do have things planned for next week. I just had some free time.
My favorite thing to do with all this extra time, is just to take things slowly.I've been putting a movie on my laptop and waking up slowly while cross stitching this lovely design by Taylor Rose which you can buy as a t shirt from threadless (highly recommend).

Here I'm watching my neighbor Katie's YouTube video on her city haul which I was a part of (you can see me if you find any of the city trip videos)
Such pretty earthy colours right?

June snapshots

This month I finished all my exams, decided to really go for it with the blogging, went to the city, shopped a lot, had a picnic in the gardens, visited costco for the first time and cross stitched a lot.

Snapchats for May

I don't really use instagram very much, but I do snapchat obsessively.  I feel like it gives the most accurate representation of my life and so here are some of my snaps from the past month.
This very pretty old umbrella won't open properly but I can work around it for four dollars. ♡ thrifting.pitcher for seven dollars. Chuck in some cute (jewellry, now anyway) plates and a couple magazines and I'm set!
Just a few others that need no explanation.
This is another thrift find from local rubbish tip. Two china cups, two plates, a sugar bowel and tiny milk
